Why street style is my FAVORITE style.

Right now, more than ever before, fashion is taking a cue from the streets! Street style has no limits!

www.lookbook.nu
is probably the sight I am most addicted to. Who doesn't want a little "hype" for looking good?!

Here are some of the "looks I like" for personal inspiration right now!

A natural attraction

Have you ever had a natural draw to something, that you couldn't explain? That is the only way I can describe how I feel about the Christian Cota fw2009 collection.

The best way I can think to describe his collection, would be "organic". The clothes look like they were formed that way in nature. Even though this seems a little far-fetched for the Urban customer, I really think we'll see some of these ideas translated for our girl this Fall.

The typical girl from Florida post :)

Maybe it's because I've lived in Florida my whole life, or maybe it's because it's just around the corner, but lately I can't get my mind off of SUMMER.

I think that one place above all embodies what Summer should look like

Australia!

Thanks to our friend, The Cobrasnake (www.thecobrasnake.com), here's what I'm hoping summer will look like for us!

Patterned leggings (especially tie-dye) Paired with Doc Marten's? Even better!

Destroyed, and altered tees turned into breezy dresses.

Mesh, please!

"Vest" in show, Lace turned summer (+ a romper!?) Harem pants? Shredded shirt?
These kids are reading my mind!

Floral, floral, and FLORAL!

Ahh, now that was refreshing!

The beautiful art of viral marketing.

One L.A. based designer started it all..

A collection featuring shredded tee's started a diy trend unlike anything I've seen in the blogging world to date...

www.childhoodflames.blogspot.com posted a tutorial on how to replicate the coveted runway looks on her popular blog, and then the madness began!
her version is pictured above...

... and these are just a few of the bloggers that found inspiration from this look & tutorial.
